Dietary Aide

Position Purpose:

The Dietary Aide will assist with the plating of meals for hospital patients, assure the delivery of food to patients, assure patient menus are filled out daily, maintains floor stocked and nourishment supplies, maintain kitchen equipment in a clean and safe condition, stores deliveries of food and supplies, and removes trash from kitchen.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Kowledge of food preparation
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Clean driving record (for insurance purposes)

Responsibilities:

  • The dietary aide aides in preparation and planting of patient meals
  • Inventory of patient snacks
  • Operation of dietary vehicle
  • ServeSafe certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
