Health Information Management Clerk - PRN

Position Purpose:

The HIM Clerk performs a variety of clerical and related support services required in the general operation of the Health Information Management Department. He/She assembles charts in an established order, files all loose reports, performs release of information, retrieves and files records and abstracts/indexes patient health information.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service skills
  • One to two year in health care related field, preferably in Health Information Management
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Insurance Databases)
