The Wound Care Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Wound Care program as directed by management. Responsibilities include education, data reporting, supervising staff, as well as providing direct and indirect patient care, implementation and evaluation of care in draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores, skin breakdown and incontinence.
Position Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Must hold a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
One to two years of wound care supervisory experience
One to two years med surg nursing experience
Certification in wound care and sharp debridement procedures is preffered
